Cuthbertsons in Kilmaurs United Secession / United Presbyterian Register

(from transcription by Jim Bundy)

(Note that these records are not for the parish kirk, but for the non-established Secession/U.P. association.  The Secession church at Kilmaurs was formally founded in 1740, but sprang from a schism in the established congregation dating back to 1712.  Some of the early records are still being transcribed.  This Kilmaurs association was the earliest Secession congregation in the area, and drew folk from surrounding parishes for many years.)
